Red Dot Brewhouse @Dempsey Hill

Wifey and I had a brunch gathering with her batch girls from Silkair at Red Dot Brewhouse, Dempsey Hill. It has been a while since we met up and it feels great forking out time to meet up with friends and just chit chatting over brunch^^

S.O.P. (Standard Operating Procedure!) Selfie before heading out! I like my wife's curls =) very nice hor~ heeee^^

Needless to say, the environment and setting was pretty nice. Lots of greenery and the fixtures were pretty in-sync with the greenery too!

Just that.. with Greenery.. comes insects...

We had to keep brushing our clothes, face and legs to get rid of the ants there. Our friend, Kim, came well prepared though, she brought a bottle of insect repellent hahahaha.

Overall its a pretty decent place to chillout with friends and have some beer~

I love their drinks station!!!! Don't you think its decorated beautifully! The drinks (well... basically just standard coffee, tea and all that) are complementary as long as you order their brunch. So for me, its nice knowing that i can drink all the coffee that i want for free haha.

Beer in the afternoon?! Yep... that's very Karen and Kim....

If you want something light, but yet filling enough, do try the Eggs Florentine. It has no meat whatsoever (the "black thing" in the middle are mushrooms) but taste pretty good. Great for a light brunch.

If you would like a more hearty meal, then perhaps the Grandma's Sunny Side Up (i may be wrong.. kinda forgot the name to this meal) which has beef steak would be great for you! It is not supposed to be poached egg as shown in the picture about, but Kim wanted poached eggs and they changed it for her for free!

This Chicken Wings... don't try.. it isn't exactly tasty.. and very very spicy. Kinda like Sze Chuan Chicken Wings or something.

As much as i would like to strongly recommend this place to anyone..

We probably met one of our worst meal service (perhaps its really just due to their manpower issues).. Our main courses took 1.5hrs - 2 hrs for it to be served.. and what's worst.. another friend of ours ordered Eggs Florentine as well, and after waiting for 2hrs, she still wasn't served her food and best part was.. she was informed by the manager that her Eggs Florentine is SOLD OUT! We reminded the waiters every 30mins about her food!

OMFG...

Great place to chillout.. but VERY VERY BAD service.....

Oh well...

Just take it as we were there mainly for the gathering rather than the food i guess.

I think i should make more effort to wake up earlier during the weekends and go for breakfast/brunch with Wifey^^

Feels kinda nice waking up early together and having a nice little brekkie or brunch =)
