Away from home..

It has been over a week since i've been away from home due to work...

Managing school assignments and work isn't easy at all, even the time difference over here is affecting me.. when its late over here and almost time to sleep because i have work early in the morning on the next day.. back in Singapore its only like dinner time? evening time?.. Hence it feels like you have sorta lost your contact with your love ones back at home..

Its the starry night sky over here that i hope to be able to share with wifey. Hope she would see this post without me telling her^^

and now... its back to doing my assignments.. 3 of them due on almost the same day.. super duper stress right now..

Friday's with Wifey!

During my last post, I've mentioned that it's quite nice to be able to take public transport as it brings me the good old memories^^ last Friday, wifey and I took public transport to town, in a what I would call, school kid way haha. We were like "eh I meet u at the last cabin ar, last cabin" lolxxx.

It was kinda fun though hahhaa

Our first stop was to try out this highly acclaimed Frozen Yogurt called: IIao llao. I seriously dunno how pronounce the name haha. If you do, please let me know by leaving a comment on this post heeeheee. 

We had the Sanum, which cost $6.50 and allows you to choose one crunch (ie. nuts), 3 types of fruits and 1 sauce. 

I think this is the perfect combo ever! Frozen yogurt, chocolate with muesli bar, strawberries, mango, kiwi and chocolate sauce!!!

It's really affordable and value for money! Check out the toppings! llao llao really give their customers a bang for their buck!

Next we went to Paparich! 

The Asam Laksa over here is really good! Both Mich and I decided to order the same thing instead of trying something else haha~ 

But the satay was disappointing though.  Not tender enough, very very difficult to tough, those with weak teeth.. Better not attempt lolxx. ~ don't like ~

Public Transport ain't that bad afterall!

Lately, for the past 2-3 days, I've been taking the public transport everywhere I went. It was pretty daunting for me at first, because I haven't been taking public transport for about 7-8 years! Google map is my newfound friend for helping me figure out how to get to places via public transport lolx.

My wife is very cute though. The night before my first day to work via public transport, she took the effort to rehearse with me on how to get to work, where to change MRT and what buses do I need to take^^ ~what am i gonna do without her....T_T

But I guess there are benefits in taking public transport. I mean, the downside of it is obvious, I lose convenience and time.  But, I am able to catch some slp while I'm commuting! 

Just took a train from Khatib MRT to my in-law's hse. As the train traveled towards Yio Chu Kang, many many many memories flashed though my head. I used to take the exact same route in the past when I'm sending my wife (back then she was still my gf lol) home. We would chitchat, say lame jokes, get a little "touchy" (hug hug a bit) heeee~ 

Those were the days, simple and nice. Looking forward to reviving the good old days with Wifey!
